When you are looking for a photographer to cover your big day, you require someone who can creatively capture the details of the events as they unfold with as little disruption to the flow as possible. You will have paid for a venue, dress, suits, transport, music, flowers, reception, food and numerous other expenses, and it is worth having the event captured properly so those fleeting details are recorded and will not be forgotten as time passes. Great photography doesn't come cheap, but it doesn't have to cost a fortune either. If you want an album for yourselves and future generations to look back on then it is worth paying that little bit extra. As your wedding photographer my sole aim would be to produce a record of your wedding that will surpass your highest expectations. Many photographers can take a good photograph but telling a story and laying it out in pictoral form is a different matter. It is always wise to view a completed album before choosing a photographer and I have two completed storybooks in my gallery which show how I work. If chosen to cover your wedding we can speak at length and I will listen to what is important to you in shooting the event and how you want the storybook album to look. I work in a contemporary style with a relaxed and efficient manner capturing the day as it happens,occassionally stepping in where necessary to set up certain poses. I generally shoot over 1000 images so there will be plenty to choose from. In line with many photographers, I offer to cover your wedding day and give you the results on a cd for a basic cost (£550), but I try to stear clients away from this decision. This is an easy option for couples to 'save some money' but can open up a large can of worms. Many couples have received their cd of images from their photographer only to have never got around to finishing the job of creating the album. They cite that they just couldn't decide how to present the images or they just never got the time. I will take the stress of designing the pages from you and produce a stunning storybook that meets the criteria you specify.You will have a professionally designed and finished book in your hands and ready to show off in a short space of time. Within a week I will have created a draft storybook on computer for you to view. This will give you a starting point when you return from honeymoon. From there, if you choose, you can let me know to change pages and photographs until you have the album you are completely happy with. My value storybooks are then sent away to be printed and arrive back around ten days later. All my other storybooks are created in-house using the finest materials to produce wonderful truly individual albums for you to treasure for yjr rest of your lives. I also have an apprentice to act as second photographer on request. Having a second photographer can be useful at key moments when more than one thing is happening. This will give you somewhere over 1400 shots to choose from. I live in the North West and cover weddings in Lancashire and Cumbria though I would be delighted to travel anywhere in Britain to cover your big day. I only request a £200 deposit upon booking my services and you can then relax in the knowledge that your photography is taken care of. Then pay the remainder (minus the £200 Satisfaction Assurace Guarantee) one month before the wedding date. The final £200 only needs to be paid when you have received and are completely satisfied with your finished wedding package.
