We are absolutely delighted with our story book and love sharing it with our friends and family, which as you know, because of the snow could not attend! They all comment on how you captured the day in a natural informal way and this was echoed by our guests who did manage to attend!
Your relaxed, enthusiastic and easy going manner meant that both of us and the guests felt completely comfortable with you being part of such a private and intimate occasion.
We would also like to thank you for being so flexible during the build up and post wedding, although our busy schedules meant that we had some rearranged dates, this never seemed to be a problem!
You are a true superstar and wouldn't hesitate in recommending you to anybody needing a photographer!
Steve, myself, Songshi and Tangquan (The Chow Chows) and all the guests are absolutely delighted with the Wedding Album. You kept to the script we gave you including all natural shots with no poses and the end result is perfect.
Whilst lovely people tell us we have a beautiful garden, you have made it look wonderful, and garden shots were one of our main objectives. You have used your natural flair for photography to create imaginative pages, merge colours to perfection, so different from a standard wedding album, and the cover wrap around Garden shot with the Wedding Service Programme was the icing on the cake, so to speak!
We have been overwhelmed with the compliments from everyone on the Album, ranging from "It is the best Wedding Album we have seen" to "I wish my Family had done this for their Wedding" to "The Wedding could have been in Italy" .
Additionally everyone passed comments on how they liked you and they did not know you were there happily snapping away, a discreet photographer, exactly aligned to our script.
From Kirsty & Stuart Stuart and I are so pleased with our wedding album and extra prints. Before, during and after the wedding there was no job too big or small for Colin, from coming around to the house to discuss details, to printing lots of extra pictures after the wedding, and personally delivering them! Colin showed a geniune interest concerning how we would like our wedding pictures – we were keen to have a more informal ‘capturing of moments’ rather than lots of posed pictures. Colin knew exactly what we meant and did this better than we could have imagined Except for the posed photographs that we requested, we hardly noticed he was there snapping away in the background, capturing lovely moments (such as the 2 year old bridesmaid having a tantrum in the aisle of the church, something I never would have known if it wasn’t caught on camera!) Our wedding album is perfect; every page is beautiful and unique and captures the little details of the day that were planned so meticulously!
The album has been shown off again and again and we even ordered an extra one for grandparents, something Colin was more than happy to do for us. The prints we ordered are of high quality, we were so pleased with them we ordered about 10 more than we originally decided due to popular demand from family!
We feel that the price we paid for our wedding album and extra prints was not only reasonable, but a bargain for the service and quality that we received.
We can’t recommend Colin highly enough and would like to thank him again for capturing lots of happy memories that we will treasure forever!
Colin has a real flare for identifying amazing photographic opportunities, and worked tirelessly throughout our wedding day to capture the most amazing images. His commitment and attention to detail when editing our storybook album, in readiness for printing, matches his photographic talents and his use of different image styles that included modern, traditional, period and even humorous made for a wedding album that is both beautiful and interesting, as each turn of the page has a different 'feel' to the last.
Outside of taking the traditional and family / group photographs, Colin's presence was largely unnoticed as he went about his business in a discreet manner and did not impact with the enjoyment of the day.
